DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin the New York Section of the American Chemical Society as it celebrates the 11th annual Chemists Celebrate Earth Week at the Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center.  What a perfect location to celebrate this year’s theme of  ‘Glaciers: Hot Topic\, Cool Chemistry’. This year’s CCEW event will feature an introduction to the Jones Beach Education Team\, presentations related to this year’s CCEW Theme\, a tour of the beautiful Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center\, a self-guided hike through the beach and preserve area\, as well as snacks\, lunch\, a healthy ‘blender bar’ and cool earth day gifts.\n\nSpace is limited and everyone must register (including children).  Since minors will be present\, all participants are asked to review the ACS Volunteer and Code of Conduct Policy.  This event is FREE\, but there is a fee for parking at Jones Beach.\n\nDate:   April 26\, 2025\nTime:  11:00AM – 3:00PM\nRegister here\nDownload flyer here
